Calling all artists and entrepreneurs! Come and learn how to maximize tax deductions. What:
Come with your questions and concerns as we offer a roundtable type workshop. Questions will lead to discussions as Jared Stevens, a local CPA goes over the ins and outs of organization, saving receipts and what to record for business and income tax. This will be an informal workshop. No question will be considered stupid or silly. We are all learning.
Cost:
$10 per person
Ages:
16+. Younger, well behaved children can attend if accompanied by an adult. This is geared towards adults who are artists or entrepreneurs and kids may be bored easily.

Where:
Classes are taught at The Local Artisan Collective, located at 2371 Kiesel Ave in down town Ogden, just a little south of the Megaplex.

About the Instructor:
Jared Stevens, MTax, began preparing taxes in 2014, after working 15 years in IT and management fields. He specializes in accounting, tax consulting, and tax preparation services, as well as consulting with individuals and small business owners. After returning to school, with the encouragement of the five other accountants in his family, he graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 2015, and with his Master’s Degree in Accounting and Taxation from Weber State University in 2016. He is a member of the UACPA and AICPA. In his spare time, he loves to travel and spend time outdoors with his family.
