Liz Turpin FIAB BA (Hons) | Turpin Accounting Services
Liz Turpin is the owner of Turpin Accounting Services Limited, now a family-run business. She started from her spare room in 2011 and now employs 6 members of staff. Prior to starting her own business, Liz worked in industry including engineering/manufacturing, care homes/agencies, and the third sector. Liz has been a fellow of the Institute of Accounting and Bookkeeping for several years. Liz is a sector expert for HULL BIPC, having been involved in the Bookkeeping Clinics and delivering financial workshops since 2020. Liz is also the Treasurer for BNI Kingston Bevan and joint treasurer for Hull BusinessWomen Breakfast Club.
Charlie Hewson APFS | Informed Financial Planning
Charlie joined Informed Financial Planning (IFP) in 2020, with previous experience at an IFA's & Mortgage Brokers in Newcastle. Charlie has 6 years’ experience in financial services and specialises in pensions, inheritance tax planning and investment advice. Charlie achieved Chartered status in 2023, demonstrating his commitment to furthering his knowledge and giving clients the best possible service.
Elvis Hernandez | OSL Risk Management
Dr. Elvis Hernandez is the Managing Director of OSL Risk Management, with over two decades of expertise in real options, risk management, project risk analysis, asset optimization, and business intelligence analytics. His experience covers risk-based decision-making, business valuations, and project management across oil and gas firms, government agencies, telecommunications, banks, and SMEs in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Dr. Hernandez holds dual PhDs in Finance and Engineering Science. He is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and a Visiting Professor and Fellow of the Academy of Higher Education in the UK. His research interests include Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Decision Analysis, and Real Options Valuations.
