Join JES Scholar-in-Residence Dr. David Frew, co-author of "Accidental Paradise: A 13,000-Year History of Presque Isle" for a two-hour guided tour that takes the history off the pages and to the places that shaped and made Erie, Pennsylvania's state park the gem it continues to be today. Aboard a bus, Dr. Frew will introduce several important but relatively unknown aspects of the park. The purpose of the tour will be to visually demonstrate the succession process that created Presque Isle and summarize the most interesting political responses that helped define the park.Location: Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 301 Peninsula Dr. Erie, PA 16505

Parking: We are meeting at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. The back three parking pods are available for our use. Please arrive at 10:45AM for an on-time departure of 11:00AM.
