01.02. – 21.02.2025
Vernissage: 31.01.2025
Galerie Gilla Lörcher is very pleased to announce the exhibition ACCROCHAGE. The exhibition presents paintings, drawings and objects by the eight contemporary artists: John Cornu, Ivan Liovik Ebel, Ivana Kličković, Quentin Lefranc, Sandrine Mahéo, Gonzalo Reyes Araos, Christian Pilz, Capucine Vandebrouck.
Concrete art is a direct art movement based on sensual experience, which is characterized by abstraction and the renunciation of representational depictions. Color, form and space are of particular importance. Some of the artists presented here experiment primarily with geometric forms and mathematical principles, others more with the effect of color in order to create new visual experiences for the viewer.
Contemporary concrete art also reflects social issues and challenges. Many artists use their works to draw attention to issues such as the environment or technology, creating a dialog between art and the world around us.
The vernissage will take place on January 31 from 19:00-21:00.
You and your friends are cordially invited to join us.
