Our event is celebrating Birdability week, created by an organization whose mission is to ensure inclusivity in Birding.
According to their website, Birdability Week is an annual celebration dedicated to birders with disabilities and other health concerns. It serves as a platform to share resources and ideas, fostering an accessible, inclusive, and welcoming birding community. Inspired by other inclusive celebrations such as #BlackBirdersWeek, Latino Conservation Week, and Let’s Go Birding Together, Birdability Week aims to ensure that birding is a joyful and enriching experience for everyone.
