The City of Burnside in partnership with Propel SA are offering a free workshop for organisations and employers to learn about the benefits of working alongside people living with disability. The workshop will be facilitated by Palladium and their Mavens program.The workshop will include the following topics:
- Background on accessible and inclusive employment.
- Employment options for people with disability.
- Disability Employment Service.
- Business benefits that come from increased diversity in the
workplace.
- How to conduct a health check of how accessible your workplace
is.
- Different reasonable adjustments that people with disability might
need.
- How to access support and resources.
- Case study examples from people with disability
- Q & A Panel
