𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲This October, we gather at a turning point.
Arkansas is facing a major shift in how legal aid is delivered. The Center for Arkansas Legal Services, in its current form, is ending on December 31, 2025, but the work of legal aid in Arkansas will continue in a new statewide structure. Where once there were two organizations, there will soon be one. Legal Aid of Arkansas will carry the responsibility once shared, but it cannot do it alone.
Justice was never meant to rest on a single institution, or even a few. It belongs to all of us: advocates, allies, and entire communities working together.
𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 reminds us that our duty extends far past the courtroom door. Justice demands more than a license to practice, it requires commitment to serve, to strengthen systems, to expand access, to mentor the next generation, to advocate for critical funding, and most importantly, to show up together.
Each year, we honor the pro bono attorneys, volunteers, and community leaders who go beyond the courthouse to make justice more accessible in Arkansas. Join us in celebrating their dedication and impact at our Access to Justice Month Kickoff.

All proceeds from the event support the Arkansas Justice Fund, a permanent endowment sustaining legal aid in every corner of the state.
This year's evening will blend inspiration with connection. Alongside an open bar, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, and live music by Joshua Asante, we've designed interactive experiences throughout the venue to spark meaningful conversations and engagement. From professional photo portraits to hands-on keepsake creation and a light scavenger hunt, you'll discover new ways to engage with both the mission and one another.
