About this Event

This free interactive taster session is an opportunity for those within and supporters of the LGBTQ+ community to discover the funding options available to their business and create new networking opportunities in the region.

This workshop will demystify the world of funding available to your business including:

• Debt finance & understanding interest rates

• Alternative Finance

• Grant funding – is it free?

• Crowdfunding – reward, social and equity

• Angel Investment & Venture Capital – when is it right for you?

• The importance of creating a Pitch Deck or a Business Plan

• Financial forecasting and why it’s the narrative you need

Starting at 10am , the interactive workshop to finish at 1.00pm with a networking lunch.

Further support will be delivered by the Access to Finance team through a combination of workshops, masterclasses and one-to-one mentoring by finance specialists, all of whom have years of experience in unlocking funding and helping firms grow.

There will also be access to bespoke online resources that will help bosses better understand key measures, financial forecasting, cashflow needs and creating pitch decks to entice potential investors.

Directions to Wolverhampton Science Park:

We are in Glaisher Drive, off the Stafford Road by the KFC – there are three buildings and the Technology Centre is the one in the middle. If you go to reception – they can call us, or go left at reception up the stairs and we are on the left – just ring the doorbell.
