Our Season 2025 FINALE sees the overdue return of the iconic J.W. Smith Handicap Road race, last raced in 2017.The spectacular course begins near the corner of Frenchman Bay Rd and Harding Rd near Limeburners Distillery. Riders travel a relatively flat 10km south-east until Quaranup Rd. Then it’s 6km out to the U-turn at the Camp Quaranup gate and 6km back to Frenchman Bay Rd. Turning left it’s 6km of up and down to the final U-turn at Frenchman Bay. It’s a solid 2km climb to start the 16km trek back to finish line near Harding Road.

Elevation gain: 389 m

The race is handicap format so you'll start with similar strength riders and see if you can stay ahead of the scratch group.
So riders of all levels are catered for.
As always, visitors, first-timers and those returning to cycling are VERY welcome.
To RACE, an AusCycling RACE ALL-DISCIPLINE membership or free trial licence or event licence is required.
