Again this year, the venue will be at the Bartley Tavern, West Lakes, on Thursday 18th July, 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start in the Function Room.

DESCRIPTION:
It’s time for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) - the year has flown by very quickly, probably due to a busy Calendar.
Our AGM is a very important opportunity to ensure that this enthusiasm continues and for our Club to provide a fresh, driven approach, whilst maintaining growth. New Committee members help provide new ideas, proposals and experience for the year ahead!
Our membership is currently 119 and this continues to put the Club in a very healthy position. However, to sustain and hopefully grow this number we need to continue to have an enthusiastic Committee and participating Club Members.
The AGM format will be:
• Welcome
• Dinner (Members Pre Order Meals on arrival)
• Accept Minutes of last AGM
• Business Arising
• Reports – President, Treasurer
• Election of Office Bearers – Returning Officer
• Introduce New Committee
• Paddling Highlights slides for last 12 months.
Formalities will be kept to a minimum, and all Committee positions will be declared vacant.
A successful Club with a busy calendar only works with the support of the Committee to set policy and goals and Trip Leaders to plan, organise and conduct the trips. The support I have received this year has been above and beyond, so I would like to pass on my personal thanks to all Committee Members and Trip Leaders.
