About this Event
ACAP is a high school career exploratory initiative under the umbrella of NABA, Inc. It represents NABA’s high school flagship program executed locally. This year’s program will be held July 21 - July 27, 2024 at Old Dominion University (ODU).
ACAP aims to provide an enriching experience for students that will leave them both well-prepared and inspired to pursue careers in these disciplines.
ACAP has existed since 1980. NABA recognized the need for a program that would direct future Black Business Leaders toward accounting and finance. NABA remains committed to putting more students who are interested in these fields on the path to success. The ACAP experience is a structured program intended to guide students in developing their own path to achieve their desired goals.
The program is “FREE” for students & families and offers a comprehensive approach to exploring career opportunities through a variety of informative sessions and fun activities. They will leave with a well-developed personalized and actionable roadmap not only to college but on how to succeed in college with a clear understanding of career options.
