About this Event

ACAMS Australasian Chapter October 2025 Event

Navigating the new normal – ensuring compliance with the new AML/CFT regulations

With sweeping new changes to the AML/CFT Act now in force, including mandatory customer risk-rating and new rules for online marketplaces, staying compliant has never been more critical.
Join MinterEllisonRuddWatts and ACAMS for a seminar exploring the latest AML/CFT developments in New Zealand, featuring expert insights from both sides of the Tasman. We will cover:

  • an update from the regulator on the changes to date and the third and final instalment stage of reforms;
  • how industry is reacting to the changes and managing their compliance;
  • a banking and fintech perspective: the impact on compliance and how organisations are adapting; and
  • what the Australians are seeing as they navigate major reforms to their own regime
