Welcome to the Academic Freedom in the UK event! Join us at the Julian Hodge Building for a lively panel discussion on the importance of, and challenges to, academic freedom in today's educational landscape. The panel features:

Nigel Biggar CBE: Emeritus Regius Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology at the University of Oxford and author of Sunday Times Bestseller Colonialism: A Moral Reckoning (2023).

Jo Phoenix: Professor of Criminology at University of Reading specialising in sexualities and justice, gender, and the production of criminological knowledge.

Naomi Waltham-Smith: Professor at the University of Oxford, working at the intersection of music theory, recent European philosophy, and sound studies.
