Open to all students regardless of nationality or league affiliation, the Academic Drone Soccer World Cup competition and Career Fair takes place April 22-25th, 2024 in San Diego, California. Fifteen nonprofit organizations formed a planning committee for the World Cup, representing school districts and teams, international leagues, and nonprofit organizations. The competition takes place at the San Diego Air & Space Museum and XPONENTIAL2024, a global drone and autonomy conference. The competition will host 32 middle and high school teams at 20cm (300g) along with 12 college teams at the larger 40cm size. The career fair includes industry presentations, scholarships, and placement interviews with top aviation companies and universities.
