Join us for our upcoming Academia Bembé Adult Session: Cantos y Coros for Bomba Puertorriquena, with Bembé Artist-in-Residence, Beto Torrens of San Juan, Puerto Rico! Learn the history and interpretation and practice cantos y coros of Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba with Maestro Beto Torrens!This session of workshops will run from October 12-November 9, 2024. Classes will take place on Saturdays from 2:30-3:30pm.
Open to ages 18+. ALL workshops will be held at Bembé's Casa Cultural, located at 611 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, 53215 (across the street from the Mitchell Park Domes). Save your spot below before it's too late! ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED in advance of first class.
