In this Abstract photography meet up we will analise subjects and objects in a way that renders them either partially or completely unrecognisable, emphasising instead on the interplay of shapes, colours, and form. Experiment with perspective from low or high angles or get extremely close to the subject to reveal hidden details and textures. With the use of a shallow depth of field to blur backgrounds we will find abstract detail in the foreground.
In this workshop, we will explore the art of creating striking and thought-provoking images through the use of abstraction using everyday ordinary items from objects, nature and architecture in a new way to make them appear unusual. Let the viewer question what they actually see.
