The creative process is intricate, deep and profound.
Come and join Steph Mac for a 'wellness' painting session and learn to throw art like a pro. Learn the act of trust, throw 'perfectionism' tendencies to the side, and create a masterpiece.
Through art we find ourselves, process our emotions, tap into the inner child, learn about our unconscious selves, and make sense of the abstract and unseen.
This will be fun and interactive and will include an intro and demonstration for abstract art. You'll have paints, brushes and your own large MDF canvas to paint on, which you can take home with you.
All materials supplied.
The cost is usually $80 but tickets are only $40 per person thanks to funding received from Creative Communities.
Held at the Otatara Community Centre.
Morning class from 10-12.
The Wellness class is from 1-3.
