Learn to bellydance with Misha!Are you ready to put a shimmy in your step and a smile on your face? Discover the beautiful bellydancer in *you*!
In this class, you will learn the absolute fun-damentals of bellydance! Misha will be teaching a class that is super beginner friendly (and friendly to *all* bodies!) where you will learn the basic building blocks of Middle Eastern dance movement. This class is not style-specific but instead incorporates a variety of movements that are classic moves suitable for any bellydance style. Each week, you will discover new exciting moves and then put them together in easy to remember combinations that will keep you dancing all week long. Misha's classes are fun, exciting, challenging, and welcoming to all, so you will get a workout as well as making great new friends.
If you have never bellydanced before, but have always wanted to do so, now is the time!

About Misha:
Misha is a Global Caravan Master Teacher & Leader based in sunny Sarasota, Florida, USA who has been dancing MENAHT dance (Middle Eastern, North African, Hellenic and Turkish) for over 25 years. She performed Egyptian and Turkish style for many years throughout Florida before expanding to include Global Caravan format and becoming a certified Master Teacher in the global dance form. A weaver of the wild, Misha is known for her ability to tap into the Divine and bring an element of mystery, magic, and mischief to her dance performances, dance classes and workshop offerings. Misha directs two bellydance-based dance troupes, Troupe ShimmyBOOM! and Caravan Project Florida. Believing that everyone has a space in the circle, Misha holds a space that is inclusive for Folx of all manifestations. While her personal dance is Divinely Feminine, her tribe is an encouraging and transformative place for all Folx to find their own incredible magic through dance.
