Absolute Battler is award-winning Christchurch-based stand up comedian Taylor Ruddle's third hour show and Nelson is the first stop on the Absolute Battler tour!
In Absolute Battler we catch up with what Taylor's been up to since his previous special Panic! At The Buffet (9.5k views on YouTube), Taylor has been a full time battler (comedian) for nearly 3 years now and while some things are going well, just like everyone at the moment Taylor's battling his way through it. Taylor riffs on approaching his mid 30s, his struggle to lose weight, being mistaken for the bouncer, Homeric Greece, love languages, his toxic masculine brain vs his progressive male brain, trying to learn empathy, recession-busting life hacks and much more.
This is very much a work in progress version of the hour so statistically you'll be seeing the new hour in its rawest form. It's a tradition of Taylor's to do the first tour dates in Nelson for every new show and he's very much looking forward to coming back.
