This Halloween weekend we celebrate this special time by welcoming The Love (the) Ominous World Tour with Blu & Exile, Fashawn, and Sirplus along with a host of local and regional talent to make for a magical evening in Baltimore City. Blu is a standout figure in the new wave of Los Angeles emcees, renowned for his commanding presence and captivating music that resonates across various demographics. His delivery is smooth, and his lyrical content vividly reflects both the joys and struggles of working-class youth. Exile, known for his work with Aloe Blacc in Emanon, is a versatile producer, DJ, and occasional emcee whose "laid-back soulful vibes" draw inspiration from producers like J Dilla and Madlib.
Their first collaborative effort, *Below the Heavens* (2007), was a significant moment for LA hip hop, echoing the legacy of groups like Freestyle Fellowship, Jurassic 5, and The Pharcyde. The album garnered critical acclaim and is celebrated as one of the year's standout releases. They have released several projects since including 2020's Miles Davis, and this years brand new album, Love (the) Ominous World.

Fashawn, is an American hip hop recording artist from Fresno, California. He first gained major attention after releasing his debut album Boy Meets World in 2009, which was produced entirely by Exile. The album received critical acclaim and landed him on the cover of XXL Magazine's Top 10 Freshmen issue in 2010. Since then, Fashawn has collaborated with other artists and producers such as Nas, J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Evidence, Murs, Aloe Blacc, Blu, Big Mike, Brother Ali, The Alchemist, and 9th Wonder. In 2014, Fashawn performed the entrance theme to WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley's rematch against Manny Pacquiao. On June 9, 2014, Fashawn signed with Nas' new label Mass Appeal Records. He has since dropped many projects and remains one of the most vibrant performers in Hip Hop.
