On Wednesday November 10, as part of Nunga Week you can join in with a participatory art program, hang out with neighbours and be welcomed to our suburb! There are many ways to learn more about Kaurna culture and the Aboriginal history of where we live.During this unique workshop, we will explore and acknowledge this history under the guidance of local Aboriginal artist Kylie Goldsmith, whilst creating individual and collective artworks.

There are strictly limited spots. Adults over the age of 55 will be given priority spots for this workshop.

Nunga Week is an acknowledgement by the City of PAE of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities’ contributions with a special focus on partnerships between PAE and other local groups and organisations. Nunga Week is held in the second week of November each year, and includes celebrations such as the ATSI Awards presentation together with many other events and activities across the region.
Nunga Week 2021 will be celebrated from Saturday 6 to Friday 12 November. All activities part of Nunga Week are FREE.
