Event Overview

Join us as we honour the legacy of the 1965 Freedom Riders with a formal presentation recognising their cultural significance, their stories, and the lasting impact their actions have had on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Following the presentation, their will be a range of culturally informed supportnetworks and information stations available, hosted by:

  • Aboriginal Workforce representatives
  • Western Sydney University staff
  • Bankstown TAFE Outreach workers


What to Expect

These stations offer mentoring, guidance, and resources on pathways into education, training, and future career opportunities.
