antwerp-based band de kloe explores the border between rock and electronic genres such as drum ‘n’ bass and techno. the four members of the group combine uplifting riffs and drum patterns with freely improvised parts, which are contained of musical references. the result is a dynamic whole in which different sounds collide and reinforce each other, or as de kloe has previously been described, ‘when five groups seem to be playing at the same time and it miraculously still works.’
