Dear Classic Vehicle & ex Military Vehicle owners,We would like to invite you to our 25th anniversary Air & Country Show at Abingdon Airfield / Dalton Barracks ,Oxfordshire set for Saturday 14th June.
We are a small band of volunteers organising this event and are very proud to have achieved 24 previous events - we originally thought it would run for 5 years - how wrong we were!!!
In our minds we would like to see the biggest gathering of Classic & ex-Military vehicles / Trucks / Buses / Motorcycles etc if possible to make the day much more special.
There is the normal entry fee of £5 per vehicle however we have ammended it so the driver and and increase up to 4 passengers are covered by the entry fee. However 5 or more passengers will have to pay for a reduced rate ticket of £10 per person.
If you have friends that own a nice Classic or ex Military type then please do share with them or notify perhaps a club calendar.
PLEASE NOTE: your instructions ie map for directions & timings and a window pass will not be issued out until after 20th May.
There is also a cut off for entries so the earlier you book in the better.
The show will feature Aircraft Flypasts (& ongoing dialogue for further!), Live Music, a Fun Dog show includes Huskies, Aircraft static displays, Miniature Steam Engines, Trade & Charity stalls, Crafts, Tank Rides and much more.
