The National Weather Service will be having their annual Skywarn spotter training class in the Hart Auditorium of Abilene Christian University (1850 Teague Blvd., Abilene, Texas) on Saturday, February 8th, from 9 am to 11:30 am. The class is free and open to the public. No registration is needed for the class. Come learn about the basics of severe weather and how to report severe weather to the NWS. In addition, we will have members of the Lonestar Storm Chasers group give a short presentation. For more information on Skywarn training, please go to our webpage at weather.gov/sjt/skywarn.
