Abigail Wighton is an indie-folk singer-songwriter based in Sydney on Wangal land. She writes and performs heartfelt honest songs about love, loss, climate change and the human experience. Her shows involve soul bearing lyrics, beautiful acoustic guitar playing and witty interludes that surprisingly feel like a chat with your best friend. Abigail has been paving her way in the folk singer/songwriter scene, recently opening for Fanny Lumsden at her Country Halls Sydney show. Abigail was invited to showcase her original songs at the 2024 National Folk Festival.
Abigail released her 2nd EP ‘soon’ in May receiving high praise. She is grateful for all the support from community radio stations around the country and is incredibly honoured to have been played by Beccy Cole on ABC Country. She is touring throughout June and July in 8 towns to mark this occasion.
