The Event
The summer dressage series is a series of six dressage shows at Aberhall Equestrian, one per month between April and October 2025. Each show includes an Aberhall Mini’s class for age 8 and under followed by Aberhall Intro, Aberhall Canter, BD Prelim and a BD Novice test (these classes are split into junior and senior sections).
We have also introduced a new class designed as a confidence boost for less experienced riders who are new to dressage.
Registration is free and automatic – points are awarded for 1st- 6th places and accumulated per combination per section/class over the series, with fabulous end of season champion rosettes and trophies to the overall winners.

Class 1 – Aberhall Mini’s – Test 7
Class 2a – Aberhall Intro – Test 7 (see note below)
Class 2b – BD Introductory 1
Class 3 – Aberhall Canter – Test 7

Please Note
Class 2a is a confidence boosting class for nervous or less experienced riders who are perhaps new or fairly new to dressage.
Class 3 – Rider/horse combinations must not have competed in any affiliated BD novice class previously at any venue.
These rules apply to both senior and junior riders.
