Aberdeen Talks | The Life & Times of Dr Myra Mackenzie

Join retired G.P. Marion White as she explores the distinguished career of Dr Myra Mackenzie, the first woman to graduate in Medicine from the University of Aberdeen.
The talk will cover Myra's graduation, her first appointment in Aberdeen, her move to England, followed by her work in Serbia as an anaesthetist where she provided help to Serbian children and refugees as part of the Scottish Women's Hospital, before her return to the UK where she trained in psychiatry and became a medical superintendent.
