Save the date for Strassenfest’s “companion” event at the Wausau Elks Lodge! “Abendessen” means “Supper/Evening Meal” in German. We will enjoy a German-inspired meal followed by a presentation from the Rev. John W. Krueger. Rev. Krueger, whose ancestors helped settle Wausau in the 1860's, will talk about the role of German immigrants in the founding of Wausau and of Zion Lutheran Church. Rev. Kreuger has also written a book, "Three Cousins from Pomerania."Reception and Cash Bar: 4:30—5:30PM

Tickets are $23 per person and must be purchased in advance for catering purposes. They can now be purchased through the Zion Lutheran Church office or after-hours by contacting Randy Beck at 715-571-9355.
