Meet Tanyora — aka Tany
A Haitian dancer, teacher, and choreographer making waves in NYC and beyond. By day, she’s an architect 🏙️— but at her core, she moves through life with rhythm, purpose, and deep cultural pride.
Rooted in traditional Haitian dance and shaped by Afro/Caribbean street styles, her journey has taken her across the globe — performing, teaching, and building community through movement.
She’s graced the stage with artists like Adekunle Gold, Uncle Waffles, and Victony, and for the past 3 years, she’s been the lead choreographer for BAYO Festival.
Through Afrohouselab and NANM Dance Company, Tany continues to champion Afrohouse/Kuduro, celebrate Haitian culture, and mentor the next generation of dancers.
Let's show her some love.
We can't wait to dance with you!n
