Location: Cardiff & Vale Credit Union – 4 Working Street, St Davids, Cardiff CF10 1GN
We are delighted to be joined by Paul Treece, who will be presenting on the following topics:
Managing complex accounts – Session 1 - Treasurers/Finance leads
This seminar will explore the challenges involved in managing the quality of member data and dealing with the awkward accounts and transactions which all credit unions encounter, including suspense accounts, deceased members and Single Customer View (SCV) data exceptions and exclusions. It should be useful for anyone involved in maintaining member accounts and for those responsible for SCV reporting
Cyber security & risk – Session 2 – Ideal for all staff
This seminar will review examples of cyber security incidents affecting credit unions and explore practical layers of defence and recovery that can be applied to reduce risk and improve operational resilience across IT systems. Cyber incidents are a high probability high-impact risk that should be at the top of your risk register. The seminar will discuss best practices and provide an opportunity for credit unions to learn from each other in this critical area.
