About this Event
ABC Maindy Park [Association of the Beneficiaries of the Covenanted Land at Maindy Park & of the Maindy Park Trust, Registered Charity Number 524137 (an unregistered association)] is a 'Friends of Maindy Park' type community group who have campaigned to protect the Trust land from development. On Monday 10th November 2024 we have our Annual General Meeting and all are invited to attend, details below.

To: Conduct the following business...
- Meeting opens -
1. To appoint a Chair and a Minute Taker for the Meeting.
2. To hear the reading of the Purpose & Objects of the Association.
3. To receive mInutes of the 2 nd Annual General Meeting held on 25 November 2024 at
Woodville Baptist Church, and to approve them with any amendments as may be required
as a correct record.
4. To receive a report and accounts from the Committee [Note 1].
5. To appoint members to serve on the Committee for the coming year [Notes 2, 3, 4 & 5].
6. Any Other Business pertinent to the Association.
Notes:
1. Attached is the report & accounts.
2. Current Committee members comprise those elected at the 2 nd AGM together with co-optees, and comprise: Ant Warland [Chair], Chris Lewis [Secretary], Wyn Williams [Treasurer], Andrew Wyatt, Stephanie Dowd, Tacha Huber, Christine Wyatt, Clare Richardson
3. Any member may put themselves forward as a committee member.
4. Every individual member has one vote.
5. Individual members shall elect between 3 and 8 members to the Committee.
6. After the meeting has closed there will be a brief update on the Save Maindy Velodrome
campaign and opportunity for questions.
Donation
It would help us hugely if you would consider giving a donation of £3 to help cover the cost of hall hire. Any money left over will be used to fund our next leaflet to the community with an update about the on-going campaign issues.
