Join us for the first club meeting of the year on 27 Jan 26!We will be discussing several topics at this meeting.
The event picture shows the main topic of the meeting. Moisture control. The changing weather from warm to cold can cause moisture issues within your hive. I will be demonstrating some techniques which have helped me over the years to combat moisture issues, including condensation boxes and dry sugar as ways to reduce moisture around your bees.
We will also discuss continued feeding of your bees, checking hives for weight and reducing your hive down if necessary!
We will be discussing the bee school we host in March.
We will discuss nucs vs packages. Also if you plan to sell nucs or are wanting to buy nucs, we will work again this year to connect folks to help sell local raised nucs so be sure to come and meet the folks selling nucs!!
Club membership dues will be collected this month. You will want to join the club because I will be doing raffle giveaways throughout the year for items that are important for that time of year. You MUST be a paid member to win the prizes!!
It’s gona be a great meeting and I hope you will join us!
Remember, you do not need to be a paid member to come to the meeting, all are welcome, but you need to be a paid member to win the prizes!!
