About this Event
In relaxed outdoor settings, we run a number of home education groups where children can be themselves and work together to develop social skills and to foster a deep understanding of wildlife and a love of the natural world. Activities may include den building, woodland crafts, using tools, and fire lighting.
Events run in blocks and take place weekly, starting every Monday from 12 January to 9 February (5 weeks).
The 1-week ticket is valid for 12 January only. If you would like to attend on another week, no problem, just click on the dates below.
Dates: 25 February, 4, 11, 18, 25 March.

🎫 Who can attend?
This home education group is suitable for children of primary school age.
👨👩👧👦 Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes. We offer a 10% discount on sibling tickets.
🌿Do you accept Universal Credit?
We have a limited number of places available for families in receipt of universal credit. To find out more, please email our Wilder Learning Officer at the email address below.
📍Where do we meet?
Please park in the car park and then head towards the main building (white farmhouse), and we will meet at the picnic benches next to the mini roundabout.
🌳Will the activities take place outside?
Yes, Nature Tots is an outdoor playgroup, and we will be outside for the whole session.
🌍Where are you based?
We are based in North Essex, local to Colchester.
🚗Is there parking?
Yes, we have a large free car park.
🥾 What should we wear?
Please dress for being outside - lots of layers. If it has been raining, the paths will be muddy and have lots of puddles, so wellies or boots are advised.
🚻Are there toilets?
Yes, we have toilets, but there are no other facilities.
☕Is there a Cafe or shop?
There is no a café or a shop at Abbotts Hall, but you are more than welcome to bring snacks with you.
🐕🦺Can we bring a dog?
Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
