Iowa musician Abbie Sawyer describes her latest project PERSIMMON as “an exploration of the human experience, the creative process and blind faith.” The 12-song collection “witnesses the bravery it takes to love and to gentle our hearts in the dance of being alive.”
As a life-long performer and musician, Abbie captivates live audiences with a deeply-felt, intimate style using her acoustic guitar, voice, and original music, bringing warmth and wonder to her performances. She performs with three Iowa bands in addition to her solo work, including The Night Lights, Diplomats of Solid Sound and Nola Jazz Band.
