Abbie Sawyer is an Iowa singer-songwriter who captivates live audiences with her stirring lyrics and soulful voice.
Join her on Saturday, November 1 for an XBK Album Release of her latest LP, PERSIMMON. Called “a tall glass of hope” by dsm Magazine—PERSIMMON was written and recorded in her Iowa home as an exploration of the human experience, the creative process and blind faith.
Abbie will be joined by Steph Graham, River Glen, Lorin Ditzler and Chris Hansen as the Persimmon Band.
The evening will open with The Night Lights, a women’s folk group featuring Abbie Sawyer, Katharine Ruestow and Sarah Cram Driscoll. These lifelong friends create lush harmonies with heartfelt songs about motherhood, growth, and friendship. Miles Kean will join them on double bass.
