Abbas Mountain is 2304 meters over sea level and the Red Mountain is 2318 meters over sea level
This trail is suitable for "Intermediate level hikers", you have to be in a very good fitness level & hiking experience

Itinerary
#Thu 17 April
- Gathering 10:30 pm in Nasr City "Location will be sent to participants"
- Move on 11 pm
#Fri 18 April (B-L-D) "6-7 hours"
- Arrival at St. Catherine
- Breakfast and get your stuff prepared and ready to start
- Hiking through Ain Shikaya spring, El Zawatein and continue to the peak of Abbas Mountain
- Lunch at top of Abbas mount.
- Hike back to El Zawatein before sunset
- Camping in the Zawatein and Dinner
#Sat. 19 April (B-L-D) "8-9 hours"
- Early morning warm up after breakfast
- Start the hike to El Shaq valley, then arrive to El Ahmar valley
- hiking up to Red mountain peak, enjoy its wide summit
- back to El Ahmar valley & Lunch
- Continue to El Shaq valley where setting up our camp
- Dinner and overnight in the camp
#Sun. 20 April (B-L) "3-4 hours"
- Breakfast
- Heading to Shekaya spring
- Hike back to Catherine town through Abu Giva
- Lunch
- Time to say goodbye Catherine
#Notes
- The hike will be led by Escape organizers and professional Bedouin guides
- Electricity and mobile network will not be available during the hike and the camping sites
- Bedouin toilets are available in the camping sites
- Bring two bags, light backpack for daily use during the hike and the other bag for your other stuff loaded on the camels and will be available only in the camp site and it should not be wheeled hard luggage, please pack light as you can
- An online meeting will be conducted before the trip
- Don't forget to bring your sleeping bag
