AI-Powered Workflows for Single-Cell and Spatial Omics Using DCS Cloud

Date & Time
📅 Thursday 27 November, 2025
🕐 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
📍 ABACBS Conference

Workshop Overview

As single-cell and spatial omics data grow in scale and complexity, researchers are facing bottlenecks in data processing, collaboration, and reproducibility. This workshop introduces DCS Cloud, an AI-driven, cloud-based platform designed to simplify and democratize omics analysis.

Through expert presentations and hands-on training, participants will learn how code-free, automated workflows and high-resolution visualization tools can streamline projects ranging from single-cell biology to large-scale cohorts and microbiome studies.

What You’ll Learn

✅ Identify and overcome common bottlenecks in omics data analysis
✅ Use DCS Cloud’s code-free workflows for single-cell and spatial data
✅ Explore real-world case studies including 3D spatial brain mapping and large-scale human cohort projects
✅ Gain practical experience with interactive visualization and AI-powered automation

Workshop Format
  • Introduction to DCS Cloud & Stereo-seq (20 min)
Dr. Karthik Pullela, Application Scientist, MGI Australia
  • Real-World Applications & Partner Perspectives (30 min)
Dr. Mingyan Fang, Chief Scientist, BGI Research APAC
  • Hands-On Training: DCS Cloud for Single-Cell & Spatial Data (40 min)
Dr. Melvin Xiaochun Li, Field Bioinformatics Scientist, MGI APAC

Who Should Attend?
  • Bioinformaticians & data scientists in single-cell and spatial omics
  • Research teams managing large-scale or collaborative omics projects
  • Scientists interested in scalable, AI-powered solutions for analysis
(No coding experience required — accessible for all levels.)

Technical Requirements
  • Please bring your own laptop
  • Wi-Fi enabled lecture room with Zoom connectivity
  • Participants must set up a free DCS Cloud test account in advance (instructions will be emailed after registration; valid email + mobile number required for verification)

⚠️ Important: Only 30 test accounts are available for this hands-on session. Access will be granted in order of confirmed registrations.
