"🚨 AAU TAEKWONDO COACHING CLARIFICATION 🚨
As we approach qualifying season and prepare for what will be the best AAU Nationals yet, AAU Taekwondo wants to be as transparent and clear as possible regarding coaching credentials.
AAU Taekwondo now offers both Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Certifications.
✅ Both Level 1 and Level 2 coaches retain full coaching rights, including:
• The ability to Coach
• The right to issue challenges
• The ability to submit protests when applicable
The difference between Level 1 and Level 2 reflects experience, education, and pathway to national staff eligibility not basic coaching authority at events. They will wear a new Black Coaching polo to show the difference between coaches.
We encourage all coaches to review the requirements and choose the level that best fits their role and goals. Thank you for helping us uphold professionalism, fairness, and consistency across all AAU Taekwondo events as we move forward together"..
