Protect yourself from identify theft, deed theft, and other scams by joining AARP Nebraska and Benson Post #112 American Legion for a free paper shredding event! On Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. CDT, we’ll be hosting a free paper shredding event with an on-site shred truck at Benson Post #112 American Legion’s parking lot area, located at 8904 Military Road in Omaha, Nebraska. Event ends at scheduled time or when truck is full, whichever comes first. LIMIT OF THREE (3) BAGS (20-GALLON TRASH BAG)/BOXES (UP TO 50 LBS EACH) PER PARTICIPANT/VEHICLE. Paper only, please. Staples and metal binder clips should be removed in advance. Should the cardboard recycling receptable reach capacity, boxes will be emptied and returned to participants.
