Aaron Mannion has ridden internationally in both dressage and eventing. He lived and worked in Denmark for a number of years, training with Kjeld Fredericksen, former Danish Pony Dressage team trainer, and Arly Gunnersen, an elite Danish showjumper.
Aaron won the Silver Spurs in Ireland, the premier Young Rider dressage competition. He also brought a young Custom Made through the ranks from his first eventing competition to the European Young Rider Championship, where he won team Bronze. Custom Made went on to win the Sydney Olympics individual gold medal for his new rider, David O’Connor. Aaron was also selected with three other Irish dressage riders for Olympic Solidarity Training with Reiner Klimke.
Aaron works to achieve soft, supple and responsive horses, believing that good training produces horses that are a joy to ride.
