Welcome to the AAPI Playwright Festival! Join us at San Jose Stage for a celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander voices in theater.
CATS, in collaboration with award-winning Director and Playwright Jeffrey Lo, opens the inaugural AAPI Playwright Festival with staged readings of six short plays by six diversely unique AAPI playwrights: Victoria Chong Der, Anthony Doan, Reed Flores, Kausar Mohammed, Conrad Panganiban, and Christina Ying.
Following the reception will be an insightful Talk Back conversation with Director Jeffrey Lo and the playwrights and reception to meet and greet the playwrights.
This staged reading is produced by Contemporary Asian Theater Scene and co-produced by San Jose Stage Company.
