Cindy has worked on various mega projects, both onshore and offshore, and has worked with world-class international engineering and construction contractors. As a civil engineer, Cindy has incorporated her technical background into her extensive knowledge of project execution, estimate development, cost management, scheduling and progress measurement. Cindy has a passion for project controls and is very active in the local, regional and international levels of AACE. Cindy also collaborates with industry professionals and university professors to provide project controls training across North America. Cindy has provided project controls expertise to energy projects in the US and Canada, port and transit projects in Canada, oilsands and renewable power projects in western Canada, and offshore oil and gas projects in eastern Canada..
Instructor: Paul Bouzanne P.Eng, PMP, CCP, ICD.D
Paul is a Project Controls Leader with over 18 years of experience across diverse industries, including Oil and Gas, Mining and Metals, Commercial Construction, Energy and Utilities, Rail, and Chemical.
Throughout his career he has established specialized expertise in project controls, project management, engineering, construction, procurement, contract development and management, risk management, human resource management, and business development. His experience is supported by advanced education and extensive exposure to recruiting, managing, and leading highly complex cross-functional teams on projects exceeding $10 billion.
In addition, he has been contracted by various corporations to develop and implement project management and control systems that have been adopted as best practices.
Instructor: Mohammad Moazzami
Mohammad has more than 20 years of progressive experience in refining, pipeline, and upstream oil and gas projects. Throughout his career, he has contributed to major projects like the Husky Sunrise Project, Statoil Corner Project, TC Energy Coastal Gas Link (CGL) Project, Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline (PCGP) Project, and Trans Mountain Expansion Project (TMEP).
During his assignments in a variety of roles, he has been involved in planning and execution phases of projects, with a strong focus on various project management processes. These include overseeing project governance &assurance, front-end planning, establishing project management processes/procedures, strategizing procurement/contracting approaches, risk assessment, scheduling, cost estimation/budgeting and control, progress &performance measurement, and change management.
Alongside his P.Eng. designation from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), he holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certificate from the AACEI.
He earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and continued his education to obtain a PhD in Project Management Specialization from the University of Calgary.
