A2B Vinyl Listening Session with Alison Tan

Chef, food desginer, and organizer Alison Tan is the special guest for the week’s second A2B vinyl sharing and listening session where she will lead us as we dive into Rosalia’s new album, LUX (2025). We will listen to and contextualize LUX, an impressive, bold and sprawling modern classical offering from a huge pop artist who, like Alison, isn’t scared to experiment. The album sung in 13 different languages, including Spanish, English, Catalan, Latin, Ukrainian, Arabic, German, Sicilian, French, Mandarin, and Hebrew, with each language often tied to the life of a specific female saint inspiring the song is ripe for analysis.
