About this Event
Come and bond with your fellow A1 Supporter, learn from one another, in a casual social setting. This Professional Development Day is for you! This day will ensure to be fun and fulfilling, as we prepare for the Constitutional Convention 2025 and transition into a better Australia!
We will have a series of short talks on:
· Basic Public Speaking Skills - Joyce Bok
· US Counties – A template for Australia? – Gill Davies
· The Political Theory of the American Founding – What we have learnt so far. Diane Hunt and Indra Gianni
Examine Thomas G. West’s book: The Political Theory of the American Founding – Natural Rights, Public Policy, and The Moral Conditions of Freedom.
Finish with a workshop on some basic public speaking skills! Get your voices heard in a fun and interactive way!
