Week 2 : Age and numbers up to 100.
Week 3: Days of the week, months, birthdays.
Week 4: Nationalities, professions, and the verb "etre" to be.
Week 5: Learning different family members, possessive adjectives (e.g., "mon," "ma," "mes") Gender and plural of nouns
Week 6: Family members part 2 (Learning to describe hair and eyes)
Week 7: Family members part 3 (Learning to describe personality and key physical adjecitves)
Week 8: Grammar intensive - Designated practice of avoir, etre and adjective gender agreement
Week 9: Grammar intensive- Gendered nouns in French
Week 10: Food and Drink Ordering at a café or restaurant/ Partitive articles ("du," "de la," "des") Present tense of boire and manger
Week 11: Cultural: Exploring typical French dishes and cuisine
Week 12: Practice shopping for items and discussing prices.
Week 13: Talk about leisure activities and preferences/ Hobbies (lire, regarder la télé, faire du sport), frequency words (toujours, souvent, jamais).
Week 14: Present tense of regular verbs
Week 15: Present tense of irregular verbs
Week 16: Weather and Seasons / Weather terms (il fait chaud, il pleut, il neige), seasons (printemps, été) Using faire and il y a for weather expressions /Expressing activities with en + season (en été).
Week 17: Idioms, French slang and tongue twisters.
Week 18: Writing practice 1
Week 19: Writing practice 2
Week 20: Individual work on a chosen topic (e.g., introduce yourself, describe a trip, or talk about a hobby)
Week 21: Final Presentations and Celebration (Present topics and celebrate course completion)
