ONLINE TURKISH COURSE in CANADA
Yunus Emre Institute is offering new online Turkish courses for beginners in Canada.
COURSE SPECIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATION
• Course Level: A1.2 ( Beginners) & A2 (Pre-Intermediate)
• Course Dates: January 21, 2024 – June 16, 202
• Course Schedule :
- A1.1 Monday & Wednesday (Online, Burçin Hoca): 18:00 - 20.00 EST (Toronto time)
- A 1.1 Sundays (Online, Burçin Hoca): 10.00 - 14.00 EST (Toronto time)
- A1.2 Sundays (Hybrid, Seyyit Hoca): 10.00 - 14.30 EST (Toronto time)
- A2.1 Saturdays (Hybrid, Seyyit Hoca): 10.00 - 14.30 EST (Toronto time)
- A2.2 Wednesdays - Friday (Online, Seyyit Hoca): 18.00 - 20.30 EST (Toronto time)
• Course Hours:
A1.1 levels: 5 hours of class a week, 108 hours in total
Others: 6 hours of class a week, 72 hours in total

• Course Fee:
A1.1 levels: 116.35 CAD. The price includes course and Eventbrite fees (108 course fees + 8.35 Eventbrite fees.)
Others: 78.01CAD. The price includes course and Eventbrite fees (72 course fees + 6.01 Eventbrite fees.)
• Registration: You have to register for the course on Eventbrite. Students will be registered on first-come first-served basis. If you do not want to miss this opportunity, we advise you to register on time.
• Age: You have to be at least at high school age.
• Cancellation of the Course: Courses are subject to cancellation in case minimum quota (8 in this case) is not met.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• All attendees MUST activate their cameras during class sessions.
• Currently all of our classes are given online on the Zoom Platform. You will be provided with Zoom links before the classes. Yunus Emre Institute doesn’t provide you any computer or mobile device to connect to the lessons or any other course-related material other than those stated above. It is your own responsibility to obtain a computer or a mobile device, and internet connection to get connected to the lessons.
• There will be a formal examination after the courses are over. Students will need to complete their term with a good level of attendance to take the exam at the end of each term. 70% attendance is compulsory to all courses.
• When the courses start, Toronto Yunus Emre Institute might request you to fill extra registration forms and submit documents. The Institute will keep all documents and information confidential according to the provincial and federal regulations.
• Please note that we may record lessons for educational, administrative or marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, please let the teacher know in writing and turn off your own camera.
Yedi İklim Türkçe Set
Yedi İklim Türkçe Set, prepared by the Turkish Education Directorate, consists of course books, workbooks, teacher's books, listening booklets and audio CD's. These sets are developed taking into consideration the levels and basic living areas given in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The book sets comprises the A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels and are used at the Cultural Centers, departments of Turkish studies that collaborate with the Institute, and the Turkish Teaching Centers in Turkey.
