A Zensual Walk

Sometimes we need is to go for a walk to clear our minds. Walk with us as we activate our senses through rooting in nature. This zensual walk is to promote mindfulness and relaxation. We will meet up at a local park to connect with each other and mother gaia. This event in collaboration with Magenta's Garden includes a guided meditation, yoga, sensory activation, arts playshop and light refreshments.

Half of our time will be spent is silence as we practice walking the path of surrender and listening to our own inner gps. Let this opportunity be a reminder that the healing happens naturally, that it is safe for you to rest and you are worthy of simple living.

For each session The HeArt Within will partner up with local wellness practitioners and cultural leaders to co-create sacred space for you all. This session is in collaboration with Magenta's Garden, founded by Magenta Gerald. Magenta Gerald (she/they) is a yoga instructor, artist, healer, and being of the Earth. Magenta has been practicing yoga since 2016, and after finding a deep love and commitment to the practice, she obtained her 200hr teacher certification in 2020. To Magenta, yoga is not just a physical practice but a spiritual practice, and a way to return home to oneself.

Magenta also believes that yoga can serve as a powerful tool towards social justice and collective liberation. She is intentional about supporting the wellness of QTBIPOC communities in her work. Magenta’s teaching style is rooted in love, liberation, pleasure, and gratitude. She typically teaches slow paced, feel-good style Vinyasa yoga classes that are suitable for all levels. In a society where capitalist ideals ask us to move faster, work harder, and do better, you’ll find Magenta encouraging her students instead to move slow, breathe deep, and listen to wisdom of their own bodies. Her grounded and heart-centered style of teaching aims not only to serve the wellness of the individual, but of the collective as a whole.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a journal, pen/pencil, butt cushion, blanket, or yoga mat (some mats can be provided upon request email us directly or add note to ticket purchase if applicable) as well as hydration. Please note: Public Bathrooms may or may not be availble. This event is a JUDGEMENT and VIOLENT FREE ZONE.

I understand that I volunteer to participate in the holistic healing activities presented by The HeArt Within LLC and am responsible for my own safety by acting according to the provided guidelines. I understand I am responsible for my personal items during all services provided by The HeArt Within LLC. During Healing Ceremonies some plant medicines are not recommended for people who are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or taking medications. I understand with this knowledge I’ll consult my healthcare physician prior to participation. (The HeArt Within LLC advises participants to become familiar with plant medicines contradictions before the ceremony). I understand that if I do not abide by ceremonial guidelines, I will be asked to leave the program and will not be refunded. I assume all risk of injuries associated with participation including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, effects of the treatment, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, and all other such risks being known and appreciated by me. I hereby acknowledge my responsibility in communicating any physical and psychological concerns that might conflict with participation in this agreed-to session. This is a complete and irrevocable release and waiver of liability. Specifically, and without limitation, I, on behalf of myself, hereby release the Released Parties from any liability, claim, or cause of action arising out of the “Released Parties” negligence. I, on behalf of myself, covenant not to sue the Released Parties for any alleged liabilities, claims, or causes of action released hereunder. After having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of acceptance of my participation, I agree, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, to HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVE AND RELEASE The HeArt Within LLC, its staff members, employees, organizers, agents, representatives, and business partners (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any responsibility, liabilities, demands, or claims of any kind arising out of my participation in my Reiki sessions, Healing Ceremonies, Mindful Movement Meditation Class, Playshops and/or any other events that are part of The HeArt Within LLC. By my attendance and purchased ticket I indicate that I have read and understand this Waiver of Liability. I am aware that this is a waiver and a release of liability, and I voluntarily agree to its terms.

Obtaining a ticket act as a waiver of consent to be videotaped or photographed during this event unless you express not to via email or upon arrival.

A. I consent and authorize The HeArt Within LLC., located at Baltimore, MD to use my likeness in any photograph, video or other digital media (“Photos”) taken or to be taken on July 28th, 2024 while attending the Zensual Walk., in any and all of its publications, including print or web-based publications.

B. I irrevocably authorize The HeArt Within LLC. to copy, edit, enhance, crop, or otherwise alter any Photo for use in their publications. I also waive any rights for approval or inspection of any Photos.

C. I understand and agree that all Photos are the property of The HeArt Within LLC., and will not be returned to me.

D. I acknowledge that I am not entitled to any compensation or royalties with respect to the use of the Photos.

E. I agree to release and forever discharge The HeArt Within LLC. and its affiliates, successors and assigns, officers, employees, representatives, partners, agents and anyone claiming through them, in their individual and/or corporate capacities from any and all claims, liabilities, obligations, promises, agreements, disputes, demands, damages, causes of action of any nature or kind, known or unknown, which I, and anyone claiming on behalf of me, may have or claim to have against Release in connection with this Release.
