About this Event
This event is about hearing directly from young people, aged 13 - 25 years old, on their ideas for shaping the future of youth work in Northern Ireland.
The Department of Education has started a review of youth work policy. As young people are key stakeholders in youth work, we are putting their voices at the centre of the policy development.
With the help of a Young Person's Reference Group, we are running 3 events on the theme of 'A Young Person's Vision for Youth Work in NI'. This event will take place in Belfast, with others planned for Omagh (August) and Derry/Londonderry (September).
Join us at Ulster University - Belfast Campus to have your say! The event has been designed by young people and will use youth work methods to achieve a balance of fun and engaging activities. There will be spot prizes throughout the day and we will finish with pizza for lunch.
Whether you've been involved in youth work before or are new to it, this event is for you. Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of a discussion that will shape the future of youth work for years to come!
