January 2026: New Beginnings and Journals Join local writers – and avid readers – Cathy and Stephen Wade, for a monthly book appreciation meeting with a difference.
To celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026, Cathy and Stephen have chosen a theme for each month of the year and will discuss books linked to these. Attendees will then be invited to write something inspired by the discussion.
January's session is based around New Beginnings and Journals, with featured books from the 1870s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, and themes of the winter Solstice, nature, humour and teenage angst.
